Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Barlow Bruins (Gresham, OR), 28-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Sandy improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Nelson (Happy Valley, OR) to play the in a 6A Mt. Hood battle on Friday, October 4. The go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Nelson won 55-6 in their recent league battle against David Douglas (Portland, OR)

The Bruins now have a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to David Douglas for a 6A Mt. Hood battle on Friday, October 4. Barlow will play a Scots team coming off a 55-6 league loss to Nelson (Happy Valley, OR). The Scots record now stands at 1-3.
