The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) and the host Green County Dragons (Greensburg, KY), witnessed Barren County's football squad knock off Green County by a tally of 21-6.

The Trojans (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Hardin (Radcliff, KY). The Trojans enter the 6A District 2 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, North Hardin gained a win over Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY), 26-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Dragons battle the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) in a 2A District 3 contest, on Thursday, October 3. Green County will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 34-14 non-league loss to Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY).
