Louisiana High School Football - Benton falls to Captain Shreve
September 27, 2024: Benton, LA 71006 The Captain Shreve Gators felled the host Benton Tigers football team by a score of 53-35 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Gators play the Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA) in a 5A District 1 challenge, on Friday, October 4. Captain Shreve will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 47-42 league win over Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA).
The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Leesville (Leesville, LA). The Wampus Cats go into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Leesville toppled Pineville (Pineville, LA), 41-13, in a non-league challenge.
