September 27, 2024: Wakefield, MA 01880 The Wakefield Memorial Warriors felled the visiting Beverly Panthers football team by a score of 32-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors play the Burlington Red Devils (Burlington, MA) in a Middlesex - Freedom challenge, on Friday, October 4. Wakefield Memorial will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Red Devils go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 41-24 non-league win over Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA).
The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Danvers (Danvers, MA). The Falcons go into the Northeastern - North challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Danvers was dropped by Winthrop (Winthrop, MA), 34-7, in a non-league challenge.
