September 27, 2024: Peabody, MA 01960 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Bishop Fenwick Crusaders (Peabody, MA) and the visiting Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, MA), witnessed Bishop Fenwick's football squad wallop Wilmington by a tally of 42-6.
The Crusaders (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Williams (Braintree, MA). The Bishops enter the Catholic Central contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Williams was trounced by Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, MA), 35-0, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Wildcats battle the Watertown Raiders (Watertown, MA) in a Middlesex - Freedom contest, on Friday, October 4. Wilmington will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record.
