The Mustangs now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Magdalena for a 6-Man District 2 (6 Man) outing on Friday, October 4. Mountainair will clash with a Steers squad coming off a 51-0 league win over Animas (Animas, NM). The Steers record now stands at 2-2.
