September 27, 2024: Grenada, MS 38901 The Kirk Academy Raiders football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Carroll Academy Rebels to 8 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Indianola Academy for a non-league test on Friday, October 4. Kirk Academy will clash with a Colonels squad coming off a 35-7 non-league loss to Marshall Academy (Holly Springs, MS). The Colonels record now stands at 2-4.
With the defeat, Carroll Academy drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Rebels host Columbus Christian Academy (Steens, MS) to clash with the rams in a MAIS 3A District 1 test on Friday, October 4. The rams come into the test with a record of 2-2. Columbus Christian Academy won 16-12 in their recent non-league test against Kemper Academy (DeKalb, MS)
