September 27, 2024: Manly, IA 50456 Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA), 48-6 in a league battle.
With the win, Dike-New Hartford improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Wolverines travel to MFL MarMac (Monona, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A District 3 battle on Friday, October 4. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 5-2. MFL MarMac won 28-15 in their recent league battle against Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA)
The Panthers now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Aplington-Parkersburg for a 1A District 3 battle on Friday, October 4. Central Springs will play a Falcons team coming off a 42-26 league win over Denver (Denver, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-5.
