September 27, 2024: Clarksville, IA 50619 Clarksville Indians (Clarksville, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA), 60-24 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Clarksville improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Indians travel to GMG (Garwin, IA) to play the Wolverines in a 8-Man District 4 (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 4. The Wolverines go into the battle with a record of 0-5. GMG lost 58-0 in their recent league battle against Tripoli (Tripoli, IA)
The Trojans now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Waterloo Christian for a 8-Man District 3 (8 Man) bout on Friday, October 4. Turkey Valley will encounter a Regents team coming off a 44-0 league loss to Central (Elkader, IA). The Regents record now stands at 2-2.
