September 27, 2024: Eagle Grove, IA 50533 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA) and the host Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA), witnessed Northwest Webster's football squad wallop Eagle Grove by a tally of 38-0.
The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA). The Rebels enter the 1A District 2 contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Sioux Central was trounced by Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA), 50-6, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Eagles battle the East Sac County Raiders (Lake View, IA) in a 1A District 2 contest, on Friday, October 4. Eagle Grove will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 27-0 league win over Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA).
