September 27, 2024: Newberg, OR 97132 Eddyville Eagles (Eddyville, OR) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Lewis Academy Watchmen (Newberg, OR), 50-6 in a league battle.
With the win, Eddyville improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Eagles host Alsea (Alsea, OR) to play the Wolverines in a 1A Special District 2 - North (6 Man) battle on Friday, October 4. The Wolverines go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Alsea won 52-43 in their recent league battle against Falls City (Falls City, OR)
The Watchmen now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Days Creek for a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. Lewis Academy will play a Wolves team coming off a 27-26 league win over Elkton (Elkton, OR). The Wolves record now stands at 2-1.
