The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Liverpool Warriors (Liverpool, NY) and the visiting Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets (Manlius, NY), witnessed Liverpool's football squad defeat Fayetteville-Manlius by a margin of 35-14.

The Warriors now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Christian Brothers Academy for a Section 3 AA 1 outing on Friday, October 4. Liverpool will clash with a Brothers squad coming off a 68-12 league win over Proctor (Utica, NY). The Brothers record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Fayetteville-Manlius drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Hornets host Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY) to clash with the Bees in a Section 3 AA 1 outing on Friday, October 4. The Bees come into the outing with a record of 2-2. Baldwinsville won 49-24 in their recent non-league outing against Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY)
