September 27, 2024: Norfolk, VA 23502 Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils (Fork Union, VA), 35-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Norfolk Academy advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Seahawks in a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. The Seahawks go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Atlantic Shores Christian won 27-0 in their recent non-league battle against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA)
The Blue Devils now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host St. Christopher's for a VISAA Virginia Prep battle on Friday, October 4. Fork Union Military Academy will play a Saints team coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Benedictine (Richmond, VA). The Saints record now stands at 3-2.
