Texas High School Football - Rudder wallops Fort Bend Willowridge

The Rudder Rangers football squad scored 56 points and limited the host Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles to 22 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rangers now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host University for a 5A-2 Region III District 10 test on Friday, October 11. Rudder will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 28-21 non-league win over Lampasas (Lampasas, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Fort Bend Willowridge drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Stafford (Stafford, TX) to meet the Spartans in a 4A-1 Region III District 12 test on Thursday, October 10. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 2-3. Stafford lost 34-14 in their recent non-league test against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX)
