In Friday's league match, the host Merritt Island Christian Cougars football squad scored a good 45-20 triumph over the Four Corners Coyotes.

The Cougars (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Countryside Christian (Gainesville, FL). The Minutemen come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Countryside Christian defeated First Coast Christian (Jacksonville, FL), 36-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Coyotes confront the Geneva Classical Academy Knights (Lakeland, FL) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 4. Four Corners will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
