Geneva (Boerne, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX), 48-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Geneva advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The travel to Holy Cross (San Antonio, TX) to encounter the Knights in a TAPPS Division III District 3 battle on Friday, October 4. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 5-0. Holy Cross won 48-0 in their recent league battle against New Braunfels Christian Academy (New Braunfels, TX)

The Guardians now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Ben Bolt for a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. John Paul II will encounter a Badgers team coming off a 48-18 non-league win over Pettus (Pettus, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 3-2.
