Gunderson Grizzlies (San Jose, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA), 40-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Gunderson advances its record to 2-3 on the season. The Grizzlies host Hill (San Jose, CA) to play the Falcons in a West Valley battle on Thursday, October 3. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Hill won 26-20 in their recent league battle against Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA)

The Cardinals now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to James Lick for a West Valley battle on Thursday, October 3. Mt. Pleasant will play a Comets team coming off a 22-13 league loss to San Jose (San Jose, CA). The Comets record now stands at 0-4.
