September 27, 2024: Saginaw, MI 48603 The Heritage Hawks edged the visiting Lapeer Lightning football team by a score of 10-7 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks face the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers (Flint, MI) in a Saginaw Valley - South challenge, on Friday, October 4. Heritage will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 41-26 non-league loss to Bay City Western (Auburn, MI).
The Lightning (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI). The Bobcats enter the Saginaw Valley - South challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Grand Blanc held off Everett (Lansing, MI), 35-21, in a non-league challenge.
