The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Round Mountain Knights (Round Mountain, NV) and the visiting Indian Springs Thunderbirds (Indian Springs, NV), witnessed Round Mountain's football squad edge Indian Springs by a tally of 14-12.

The Knights (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Tonopah (Tonopah, NV). The Muckers enter the 1A Central (8 Man) contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Tonopah got by Trona (Trona, CA), 66-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Thunderbirds battle the Spring Mountain Eagles (Las Vegas, NV) in a 1A Central (8 Man) contest, on Saturday, October 5. Indian Springs will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 58-0 non-league win over Awaken Christian (Las Vegas, NV).
