The New Boston Lions football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Lake Country Christian Eagles to 10 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Redwater for a 3A-2 Region III District 10 test on Friday, October 4. New Boston will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 63-12 league loss to Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Lake Country Christian drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Grapevine Faith Christian (Grapevine, TX) to meet the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, October 4.
