In Friday's league match, the host Portland Bulldogs football squad scored a decisive 56-0 triumph over the Lewiston Blue Devils.

The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Edward Little (Auburn, ME). The Red Eddies come into the A North match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Edward Little was routed by Spaulding (Rochester, NH), 41-12, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils confront the Oxford Hills/Buckfield (South Paris, ME) in a A North match, on Friday, October 4. Lewiston will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The come into the match with a 1-3 record after their 48-0 non-league win over Scarborough (Scarborough, ME).
