In Friday's league match, the host Linganore Lancers football squad scored a good 28-12 victory over the Oakdale .

The Lancers (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Tuscarora (Frederick, MD). The Titans enter the Central Maryland match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Tuscarora was beaten by Catoctin (Thurmont, MD), 20-17, in a league match.

Coming up next, the confront the Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD) in a Central Maryland match, on Friday, October 4. Oakdale will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 4-0 record after their 36-0 non-league win over Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD).
