September 27, 2024: Lorenzo, TX 79343 The Loop Longhorns walloped the host Lorenzo Hornets football team by a score of 69-23 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Longhorns face the Southland Eagles (Southland, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 4 (6 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 11. Loop will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 64-36 non-league loss to Petersburg (Petersburg, TX).
The Hornets (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Meadow (Meadow, TX). The Broncos enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Meadow bounced Wilson (Wilson, TX), 58-6, in a non-league challenge.
