Maryland High School Football - North Caroline falls to Wicomico

September 27, 2024: Ridgely, MD 21660

The Wicomico Indians felled the host North Caroline Bulldogs football team by a score of 20-12 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians play the Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD) in a Bayside 3A/2A challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Wicomico will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Buccaneers go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 43-24 league loss to Easton (Easton, MD).

The Bulldogs (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Queen Anne's County (Centreville, MD). The Lions go into the Bayside 3A/2A challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Queen Anne's County toppled Bennett (Salisbury, MD), 20-15, in a league challenge.
