Wisconsin High School Football - Platteville tops Richland Center

September 27, 2024: Platteville, WI 53818

The Platteville Hillmen football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting Richland Center Hornets to 8 in the Hillmen league triumph on Friday.

The Hillmen now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Glarus for a Southwest Wisconsin test on Friday, October 4. Platteville will meet a Glarner Knights squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Brodhead/Juda (Brodhead, WI). The Glarner Knights record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Richland Center drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Hornets host River Valley (Spring Green, WI) to meet the Blackhawks in a Southwest Wisconsin test on Friday, October 4. The Blackhawks come into the test with a record of 2-3. River Valley lost 35-14 in their recent league test against Lancaster (Lancaster, WI)
