Mississippi High School Football - St. Patrick can't hold off Resurrection Catholic
September 27, 2024: Biloxi, MS 39532 The Resurrection Catholic Eagles got by the host St. Patrick Fighting Irish football team by a score of 14-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles play the Salem Wildcats (Tylertown, MS) in a 1A Region 8 challenge, on Friday, October 4. Resurrection Catholic will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 55-0 non-league loss to Brookhaven Academy (Brookhaven, MS).
The Fighting Irish (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Perry Central (New Augusta, MS). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region 8 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Perry Central was edged by Greene County (Leakesville, MS), 49-0, in a non-league challenge.
