In Friday's league match, the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers football squad scored a decisive 52-6 triumph over the Unity Christian/Mt. Pulaski Lions.

The Sabers (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Schlarman (Danville, IL). The Hilltoppers come into the 8-Man East (8 Man) match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Schlarman routed Blue Ridge/Christ Lutheran/DeLand-Weldon (Farmer City, IL), 34-28, in a league match.
