Game Story

California High School Football - Taft beat University

September 27, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90025

The Taft Toreadors football squad scored 34 points and limited the host University Wildcats to 20 in the Toreadors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Toreadors now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Camino Real for a West Valley test on Friday, October 4. Taft will meet a Royals squad coming off a 33-8 non-league win over Dymally (Los Angeles, CA). The Royals record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, University drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Westchester (Los Angeles, CA) to meet the Comets in a Western test on Friday, October 4. The Comets come into the test with a record of 5-0. Westchester won 18-13 in their recent non-league test against Cleveland (Reseda, CA)
