Gunderson Grizzlies (San Jose, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA), 38-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Gunderson improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Grizzlies host Hill (San Jose, CA) to play the Falcons in a battle on Thursday, October 3. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 5-0. Hill won 39-0 in their recent league battle against Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA)

The Cardinals now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to James Lick for a battle on Thursday, October 3. Mt. Pleasant will play a Comets team coming off a 32-0 league loss to San Jose (San Jose, CA). The Comets record now stands at 1-3.
