BW scored first when Jace Hubert deflected a Shane Mowery service into the net for a 1-0 lead at the 14:11 mark. Fort Ann equalized 15 minutes later when Brayden Winchell scored on a penalty kick that passed BW's Keith Sonley's outstretched gloves. Both teams continued to pressure the opposing defenses for the next 10 minutes until Will Hens redirected a Jace Hubert corner into the net for a 2-1 halftime score. In the second half, Ben Holcomb scored his second career hat trick with assists from Louis Lang and Hens for two goals, and he scored the third with a solo effort.
