September 27, 2024: Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 Cheshire Academy Cats (Cheshire, CT) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Oakwood Friends Lions (Poughkeepsie, NY), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Cheshire Academy advances its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cats travel to Taft School (Watertown, CT) to clash with the Big Red in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. The Big Red come into the test with a record of 4-1. Taft School lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Phillips Academy (Andover, MA)
The Lions now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marvelwood for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 30.
