Illinois High School Soccer - East Peoria toppled by Cornerstone Christian
September 27, 2024: Bloomington, IL 61705 Cornerstone Christian Cyclones (Bloomington, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL), 6-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Cornerstone Christian advances its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Cyclones travel to Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL) to clash with the Saints in a non-league test on Monday, September 30. The Saints come into the test with a record of 6-7. Bloomington Central Catholic won 3-0 in their recent league test against Monticello (Monticello, IL)
The Raiders now have a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they host Morton for a Mid-Illini test on Tuesday, October 1. East Peoria will clash with a Potters team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Metea Valley (Aurora, IL). The Potters record now stands at 5-10.
