September 27, 2024: Pontiac, MI 48340 Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting St. Mary's Prep Eaglets (Orchard Lake, MI), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Notre Dame Prep advances its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish host Kettering (Waterford, MI) to clash with the Captains in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. The Captains come into the test with a record of 13-4.
The Eaglets now have a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Detroit Country Day for a non-league test on Monday, September 30. St. Mary's Prep will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Powers Catholic (Flint, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-3.
