September 27, 2024: Corona, NM 88318 The Gateway Christian Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Corona/Vaughn Cardinals to 0 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Elida for a 1A District 4 outing on Saturday, September 28. Gateway Christian will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Corona/Vaughn drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Capitan (Capitan, NM) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 28.
