With the win, Newman advances its record to 12-4 on the season. The Greenies host A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 5-4. A.J. Ellender lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA)
The Panthers now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eleanor McMain for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Woodlawn-B.R. will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-5.
