Michigan High School Football - Peck trounces Akron-Fairgrove
September 27, 2025: Peck, MI 48466 In Saturday's league match, the host Peck Pirates football squad scored a decisive 44-6 triumph over the Akron-Fairgrove Vikings.
The Pirates (4-1) will now prepare for their match against North Huron (Kinde, MI). The Warriors come into the Big Thumb - Red (8 Man) match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, North Huron walloped Merritt Academy (New Haven, MI), 48-16, in a league battle.
The Vikings now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Caseville for a Big Thumb - Red (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 3. Akron-Fairgrove will play a Eagles team coming off a 58-28 league win over Carsonville-Port Sanilac (Carsonville, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
