Maine High School Football - York can't hold off Foxcroft Academy
September 27, 2025: York, ME 03909 Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the host York Wildcats (York, ME), 26-20 in a league battle.
With the win, Foxcroft Academy advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Ponies host Greely (Cumberland Center, ME) to play the Rangers in a C North battle on Friday, October 3. The Rangers come into the match with a record of 4-0. Greely won 20-14 in their recent league match against Nokomis (Newport, ME)
Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME) in a C North battle, on Saturday, October 4. York will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Witches go into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 32-0 league loss to Gardiner (Gardiner, ME).
