Ohio High School Football - Gilmour Academy can't hold off University School

September 27, 2025: Hunting Valley, OH 44022

The University School Preppers got by the visiting Gilmour Academy Lancers football team by a score of 29-22 in Saturday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Preppers play the John Hay (Cleveland, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 3. University School will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 35-0 league win over Lincoln West (Cleveland, OH).

With the defeat, Gilmour Academy drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Lancers host Cleveland Central Catholic (Cleveland, OH) to meet the Ironmen in a non-league test on Friday, October 3. The Ironmen come into the test with a record of 3-3. Cleveland Central Catholic lost 34-18 in their recent non-league test against Mogadore (Mogadore, OH)
