Milford Spartans (Milford, NH) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Stark Generals (Weare, NH), 22-12 in a league battle.

With the win, Milford upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Manchester West (Manchester, NH) to meet the Blue Knights in a Division II - West match on Friday, October 3. The Blue Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Manchester West lost 33-0 in their recent league challenge against Souhegan (Amherst, NH)

The Generals (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hollis-Brookline (Hollis, NH). The Cavaliers go into the Division II - West challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Hollis-Brookline was dropped by Pelham (Pelham, NH), 50-0, in a league challenge.
