New York High School Football - Vertus thwarts Whitman/Bloomfield
September 27, 2025: Rochester, NY 14609 Vertus Warriors (Rochester, NY) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Whitman/Bloomfield (Rushville, NY), 28-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Vertus improves its record to 1-3 on the season. The Warriors host Edison (Elmira Heights, NY) to play the Spartans in a non-league battle on Friday, October 17. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 3-1.
