In Saturday's non-league contest, the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) soccer team edged the host Solorio Sun Warriors (Chicago, IL), by a count of 1-0.

Next, the Vikings battle the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 27. St. Laurence will attempt to upgrade on its 17-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 9-0 league win over Proviso East (Maywood, IL).

With the loss, Solorio moves to 10-2 on the year. The Sun warriors travel to Kennedy (Chicago, IL) to encounter the Crusaders in a challenge on Saturday, September 27. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Kennedy won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Little Village (Chicago, IL)
