Illinois High School Flag Football - Andrew loses to Hinsdale South
September 27, 2025: Darien, IL 60561 Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL), 20-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Hinsdale South advances its record to 10-6 on the season. The Hornets travel to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL) to play the Mustangs in a battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 4-8. Downers Grove South lost 31-27 in their recent league match against Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL)
Coming up next, the Thunderbolts meet the New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 27. Andrew will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Trevians come into the match with a 6-8 record after their 22-0 non-league win over Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL).
