September 27, 2025: Bloomfield, NJ 07003 Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ), 1-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Bloomfield moves its record to 7-4 on the season. The Bengals host East Side (Newark, NJ) to confront the Red Raiders in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 2. The Red Raiders enter the outing with a record of 6-0. East Side won 1-0 in their recent non-league outing against West Orange (West Orange, NJ)
Next up, the Chiefs confront the Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ) in a Super Essex - Liberty test, on Tuesday, September 30. Caldwell will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Minutemen come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 1-1 non-league Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ).
