September 27, 2025: Monticello, MN 55362 In Saturday's league bout, the host Monticello Magic soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Delano Tigers.
The Magic now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league bout on Monday, September 29. Monticello will play a Fighting Saints squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 7-1.
The Tigers (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Rockford (Rockford, MN). The Rockets go into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Rockford nudged PACT Charter (Ramsey, MN), 4-2, in a non-league challenge.
