New Jersey High School Soccer - Plainfield toppled by Union
September 27, 2025: Plainfield, NJ 07063 Union Farmers (Union, NJ) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Union moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Farmers host Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ) to confront the Vikings in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 4-0. Union Catholic won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Rahway (Rahway, NJ)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Science Park Chargers (Newark, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 30. Plainfield will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Chargers go into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Columbia (Maplewood, NJ).
