Ohio High School Soccer - Rootstown toppled by Central Christian
September 27, 2025: Kidron, OH 44636 Central Christian Comets (Kidron, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Rootstown Rovers (Rootstown, OH), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Central Christian advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Copley (Copley, OH) to play the Indians in a non-league outing on Monday, September 29. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 3-6. Copley won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Louisville (Louisville, OH)
Next up, the Rovers play the Smithville Smithies (Smithville, OH) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, October 4. Rootstown will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.
