In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Washington Township Minutemen soccer squad scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Cherokee Chiefs.

The Minutemen (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Timber Creek Regional (Erial, NJ). The Chargers come into the non-league test with a 4-1 record.

The Chiefs now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Steinert for a non-league test on Friday, October 3.
