New York High School Soccer - Rome Free Academy nudges Homer
September 27, 2025: Rome, NY 13441 In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Rome Free Academy Black Knights soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Homer Trojans.
The Black Knights (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Proctor (Utica, NY). The Raiders enter the TVL West outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Proctor edged Clinton (Clinton, NY), 7-0, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Jordan-Elbridge for a OHSL - Liberty National test on Tuesday, September 30.
