September 27, 2025: Springfield, GA 31329 In Saturday's non-league test, the Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) softball squad got by the visiting Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA), by a count of 7-6.
Next, the Rebels meet the Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 29. Effingham County will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Blue Devils go into the test with a 7-15 record after their 17-0 league win over Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA).
The Yellowjackets (17-8) will now prepare for their test against Telfair County (McRae, GA). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Telfair County was nudged by Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA), 5-4, in a league test.
