In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bedford Kicking Mules volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Cass Tech Technicians.

The Kicking Mules (15-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Stoney Creek edged West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.
